Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal data Verso handles, why, and what you can ask about it, under Brazil's General Data Protection Law (Lei 13.709/2018, the LGPD) and, if you're in the European Union or the United Kingdom, the GDPR and the UK GDPR.
Who is responsible
The controller is REMODEV LTDA, CNPJ 49.629.201/0001-41, at Rua Arábia, 54, São Jorge IV, Uberlândia/MG, CEP 38410-248, Brazil. For anything about your data, write to contato@mtnhome.app.
Your files are not collected
The files you compare are read and compared in your browser. They're not sent to any server, including ours.
So you don't have to pick everything again, your browser keeps on your own computer the last two files you compared and your display preferences, such as theme, font and text size. This never leaves your browser, and it's gone if you clear the site's data.
What we collect
- From your Google account, when you sign in: name, email, profile picture and the account identifier. We also keep the access credentials Google issues at sign-in.
- From your session: when you signed in, and the IP address and browser used, to keep you signed in and protect the account.
- From your purchase: the purchase identifier at Stripe, its status (paid, pending, declined or refunded) and the dates. Your email goes to Stripe for the receipt. Your card details go straight to Stripe and never pass through us.
- Technical logs: Cloudflare, which hosts the site, logs requests (IP address, page and time) for a few days, for security and to diagnose failures.
Why we use it
- To create and keep your account and to unlock the trial and the license. The legal basis is the performance of a contract (LGPD art. 7, V; GDPR art. 6(1)(b)).
- To keep purchase records, which tax law requires. The legal basis is a legal obligation (LGPD art. 7, II; GDPR art. 6(1)(c)).
- To protect the service against fraud and abuse. The legal basis is legitimate interest (LGPD art. 7, IX; GDPR art. 6(1)(f)).
We don't sell data, we don't show ads, and we don't use analytics or tracking tools.
Who we share it with
Only the companies that run the service:
- Cloudflare, which hosts the site and the database;
- Google, which handles sign-in;
- Stripe, which processes the payment.
These companies, and we ourselves in Brazil, may process data outside your country, with the safeguards the LGPD and the GDPR require for that. We may also hand data to an authority when the law requires it.
Cookies
Verso only uses the cookies needed to keep you signed in. There are no advertising or analytics cookies.
How long we keep it
- Account: for as long as it exists. The session ends when you click Sign out, or after 400 days without use.
- Purchase records: for as long as tax law requires, even after the account is deleted.
- Cloudflare technical logs: a few days.
Your rights
By writing to contato@mtnhome.app, you can ask for:
- confirmation that we process your data, and access to it;
- correction of incomplete or wrong data;
- deletion of the account and the data, except what the law requires us to keep;
- a copy of your data in a portable format;
- the list of who we share it with;
- restriction of, or objection to, processing based on legitimate interest.
We reply within 15 days. If you're not satisfied, you can complain to Brazil's National Data Protection Authority (ANPD) or, in the European Union or the United Kingdom, to your local data protection authority.
Security
The connection is always encrypted (HTTPS), session cookies are signed and access to the database is restricted. If an incident puts you at risk, we'll tell you and the authorities.
Changes to this policy
When this policy changes, the date at the top changes too. Changes that affect your rights will be announced by email.
